The Department of English organized a one day workshop on How to Speak Without Fear under the guidance of Ms. Zeenat Merchant. The workshop was conducted for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. Mr. Asif Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Poona College who was the Resource Person for the workshop, acquainted students with different forms of communication. Elucidating verbal, non-verbal, formal and informal communication through audio-visual aids Mr. Khan demonstrated how one can speak without fear. The second Resource Person, Al-Tameemi Ahmed Abdullah, bilingual teacher, used the Role Play method and audiovisual aids to train students in exuberating confidence and thereby removing stage fear. Seventy delegates who participated in the workshop benefitted from the ICT-based power point presentations and apt audio-visual illustrations
