INTERCOLLEGIATE NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITIONS 2017-18

 An Intercollegiate National Level Competitions comprising Essay Writing, Short Story Writing & Poetry Writing Competition was declared on 14^th February, 2018.

The topics selected for these competitions were based on gender sensitization, environmental awareness, aesthetic development, creativity, linguistic competence, general knowledge, literary awareness and value education.

 Students submitted original works in written or typed form. The entries were received by post from other colleges. Poona College students had submitted entries in the department. 

Almost 209 students from various colleges of India participated in the competitions.

Ms. Zeenat Merchant ,Head,Department of English and PostGraduate Center was the Event Coordinator .
