National Level Webinar on 26th National Reading Day

 

The Department of Library and Information Science and The Department of English and Postgraduate Center of Anjuman Khairul Islam’s Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune jointly organized a 'National Level Webinar 26^th National Reading Day' on19^th June,2021 at 11.a.m. Dr. Gireesh Kumar , Assistant Professor, Department of Library and Info Science,   Banaras Hindu University, Varansi talked about  the life, relevance and contribution of Mr. P. N. Panicker. Prof. (Dr.) Muzaffar Saleem Shaikh ,Creative Writer and Former Professor of English ,King Saud University, KSA highlighed the impolrtance of reading in life as the  food for the soul. Another Resource person Dr. Anwar Parvez Sayed ,Pulmonologist and Infectious Diseases Specialist, Country Director of I-TECH India, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Global Health, University of Washington, US delivered his talk on the Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Higher Education and Its Management. 

Dr. Zuber Shaikh, Librarian and Ms. Zeenat Merchant, Head, Department of English and Postgraduate Center coordinated the Webinar.
