Objective for conducting the activity	The District Level Literature Quiz Competition is conducted annually with an aim to enhance the literary knowledge of students viz.literary elements  of different genres ,historical periods related to Literature, literary figures, literary works and literary devices.
Methodology	This competition is an annual event. Due to tremendous response from the students an elimination round was held .The selected seven teams named after prominent literary figures  participated in the competition. The literary acumen of students was  tested through  eight rounds of Literature Quiz – Multiple Choice Round, Shakespeare Round, Quotation Round, Literary Concepts Round, Rapid Fire Round, Dumb Charades Round, Figures of Speech Round and Literary Figures Round.
Outcome	Students from all faculties who took part in the competition as well as the audience got acquainted with various literary figures, trends and terms through the Literature Quiz.
