WORKSHOP ON HOW TO SPEAK WITHOUT FEAR 2017-18

 

The Department of English organized a one day workshop on How to Speak Without Fear on 23^rd of September 2017 under the guidance of Ms. Zeenat Merchant. The workshop was conducted for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate students.

Elucidating verbal, non-verbal, formal and informal communication through audio-visual aids Mr. Khan demonstrated how one can speak without fear.

Mr. Asif Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Poona College who was the Resource Person for the workshop, acquainted students with different forms of communication. The second Resource Person, Al-Tameemi Ahmed Abdullah, bilingual teacher, used the Role Play method and audio- visual aids to train students in exuberating confidence and thereby removing stage fear.

Ninety one students who participated in the workshop benefitted from the ICT-based power point presentations and apt audio-visual illustrations. It helped students to develop confidence
