Debate Competition on 'Purdah: A Practice of Suffocation or Liberation'

The topic of the debate Purdah: A Practice of Suffocation or Liberation  was derived from the prescribed poem' Purdah'by Imtiaz Dharkar. Students were divided into two groups, one in favor and  the other against the title. One from each group alternatively was asked to present their view. Mr. Asif Khan was the coordinator of this competition.The activity led to the following outcome:

 A thorough understanding of the social issue 

 Gender sensitization 

 Ability to develop logical argument
