Essay Writing Competition

The students had to write an essay on 'The Importance of Sacrifice' and submit the essays to the respective Language  teachers in- charge. The students could submit essays in English/Hindi/Urdu language. 47 students took part in the competition. 

The following objectives were fulfilled through this activity:

·      1.  To create awareness regarding the significance of Baqra-eid and understand the highlight   

        the importance of Sacrifice (Qurbani).

·        2. Value consciousness

·       3. Creating an awareness regarding the need for maintaining health and hygiene before, during and after sacrifice.

The activity also sensitized the students to religious,moral and environmental responsibility related to Baqr-Eid. Ms. Zeenat Merchant,Head,Department of English and Post Graduate Center, coordinated the activity.
