International Tree Plantation and Cleanliness Drive

As a part of the Golden Jubilee celebration of our college , the Department of English and Postgraduate Center organized an  International Tree Plantation and Cleanliness Drive'.Participants from all over the globe participated in this Drive. Considering the catastrophic effects of global warming, this activity is a humble effort to be instrumental in saving planet earth and creating awareness amidst the masses regarding the importance of Environmental Conservation.The participants were initially made aware of the importance of Environmental Conservation through the whatsapp notification of the event. The participants were instructed to make a short video of their planting a tree or cleaning their surroundings. They had to upload the video as an attachment to Google form which also contained their personal information. On uploading the video a certificate of appreciation was generated on the email of the participant as a source of motivation. Ms.Zeenat Merchant, Head, Department of English and Postgraduate Center was coordinator of the activity.
