BRIDGE COURSE

  
 Bridge Course was conducted from 01^st to 08^th February, 2018. It was conducted with an objective that transition from board examination to university one is hardly accompanied with the linguistic competence and subject knowledge prerequisite to qualify the latter. The course was conducted with an aim to enable such students express their ideas conveniently, assist them enrich their written and spoken English and thereby enhance their academic success.

Students who feel blank after reading a piece of writing in English and diffident in responding to English text (oral or written) in an academic style were singled out from varied classes. The result of Internal Examination conducted towards the end of the first semester helped to identify such students who can read English but feel empty and challenged while communicating their understanding in examination or interview.
